HMD has challenged this Huawei patent
On October 8, 2024, the CNIPA announced the second patent that MediaTek challenged Huawei, which is a LTE/4G technology.

According to the records of the CNIPA, HMD once challenged this patent in 2023, but failed.
MediaTek challenged Huawei's first patent, which was previously used in a lawsuit between Huawei and Samsung.
The patent, CN102281641, filed in 2007 and titled "Method and device for identifying user equipment and method for transmitting and allocating temporary identity".
